Hey guys been working on some random art stuff to keep my mind from drifting into the negative thought loop I constantly find myself battling.
First up is this lil batty, character came first from one of the only inktober prompts I finished last year, finally decided he deserved some color. Then environment. Still deciding on to add next, I’m hoping to add some story in there somewhere too…
Then I’ve got this pattern I tried out in my consideration of surface patterns. I saved the characters to another file and plan on creating an illustration with them as well

@Asyas_illos My first thought was a rabbit or a fox. I have to say that I love the colors and all the detail in this.

@Asyas_illos or a bad ass little sable tooth tiger pup with it's mom or dad looming in the dark background keeping an eye on his first endeavours outside. I love your work process, just creating instead of killing it in the thinking process.

Well I went with fairy she didn’t quite fill up the space maybe I can add something else, mushrooms, fireflies…
