@Blitz55 awesome! Thank you!
-
I do a lot of sketching at coffee shops so warming up by drawing people around me seems like the natural thing to do.
-
@Blitz55 lovely sketches!
-
Not sure if there is an April version of this thread or not.
Some Hornbills I did during my lunchbreak. I find one of the best ways to get in a bit of practice is to pull up pictures on something like Pinterest during lunch and just sketch away, filling my brain with imagery to percolate on to eventually create something original with.
-
@Blitz55 probably soon
-
@braydin-hawlette The point of view here is awesome and it's so masterfully done - it doesn't look wonky or distorted and it still has a playfulness about it. Great stuff
-
Creating art for my stickers to put on my ebay invoices. The ones I found on amazon are pretty standard. Me...I like cute.
-
@Larue Yes, very cute.

Small sketch while my son was happily colouring in some Star Wars drawings I did for him. I feel like Lee’s basic shadows class really did something for me.
Project list for April;
-Make a coloured version of this tree-house
-Do thumbnails for ONE (or two) pages for a short story
-Do the Magic of Colour class.But to be honest I’m probably content if I can make a digital greyscale version of this treehouse.

@kylebeaudette so creepy, but so we’ll done. I love the armature you built first. Is it clay over top?
-
@kylebeaudette nice to see some of your clay works again! This creature is heinous( husbands favorite word lol) in the best way!
-
@demotlj Love your sketch work!
-
@kylebeaudette oh my god, its so ugly but well done:
-
@AngelinaKizz it's plumbing putty, then 3 baked layers of clay.
-
All done this little Boggart. It died in the wall and is mounted with its possessions

I am finishing up my first ever university class tonight, and the assignment was to create a piece of 3D art. With this assignment, I tried to incorporate drawing and illustration into 3D, and now I’m totally inspired to see what else I can take 3D. Im imagining portraits and illustrated character scenes and I can’t wait to try more. This piece was painted with standard acrylic paint (I didn’t want to splurge on glass paint if it didn’t work out) and 5 dollar store picture frame glass.
-
@AngelinaKizz very cool!
-
@kylebeaudette mummified!
