Need a better psd for SVS course
-
Hi everyone,
I am currently in the middle of lighting and shadow for illustrators and am on assignment 2. He added a PSD for me to import into a drawing app in my case procreate. It usually works but I think the file may have been incomplete or corrupt. Every time I import it it says the color mode is not supported. Any suggestions. I added the png version but its very pixelated and low res.Any suggestions as to how to find it.

I had problems adding this file to procreate too.
-
It is saved originally in Grayscale Mode. That's why it says the color mode is not supported in Procreate--it doesn't have a Grayscale color space.
I've changed the color mode to RGB for this version of the file I've placed on my Dropbox. You can download it from there. Maybe this version will work better for you.

@Coreyartus its a really large file omg.
-
@Coreyartus it worked. Can you do the same thing for all the other downloads.
-
If you're using a computer, you should be able to pop the PSD into a free program like Gimp to change the color mode very quickly. That way you're not relying upon anyone else to change it for you if you have other files that are in Grayscale mode.

I don’t know how to do It on an iPad. I have affinity photo
-
There are usually free online apps that would work with an iPad. I believe even something like pixlr would work (though feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).
-
You can do it in Affinity Photo. Click on the Document Icon, click Convert Document at the top of the drop down menu, then go below and change the color profile. Click Apply. Export.

Hi @Ari-Sorokin,
I also use Procreate and remember this problem.. I believe what I did was open the file on my computer, took a screen shot, imported the photo into Procreate and set it to multiply to work on it. It wasn't the best, but since it was just practice- it worked fine
Good luck!-Anna
