JANUARY CONTEST: YETI HOME
-
Here’s my entry for this month’s Critique Arena. I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried something a little different on this one. It took me a while to get started as I wasn’t sure where to take it but I have to say that I’m more than happy with the outcome. Can’t wait to see what everyone else brings to the table this month.

Nice work @chrisaakins I really like the mountainside home, not sure why I didn’t think of that. Solid entry.

I wasn't sure if I was going to have time this month, but I found some extra hours over the weekend to get started and powered through it! Check out Roary's pad!
-
@donnamakesart Ohhh this is quite nice. I really like where the shadow tone transitions from the house to the floor is a really cool effect of snow that you don't notice as much until you're drawing it
-
@DaveLeekArt Solid! I really need to work on simplifying trees... I feel like I get caught in the weeds on detailing trees, then I see how other people draw trees and can't help but feel like I'm wasting a bunch of time lol
