JANUARY CONTEST: YETI HOME
-
@Chip-Valecek ohhh interesting prompt!
-
Nice! I'm excited to see all the cool ideas everyone comes up with! This groups creativity always blows me away.
-
This will be fun!
-
Once I am finished with my current drawing, my fellow students will have serious competition. My Yetti Pad is going to be a place of a lot of fun.
-
@Chip-Valecek said in JANUARY CONTEST: YETI HOME:
Put your real name and forum name
"Put your real name and forum name " What does that mean forum name? It's this forum. This is the forum. I don't get that.
-
@Shane-Lees some people do not use the real name to login to the forum. For example I used to have the name @powsupermum but I recently switched to use my Instagram name @asyas_illos, but my real name is Asya Seward. So include both of them.
-
I guess all the major publishing houses will be flooded with submissions of Yeti stories by the end of this year.
So let's do it :-). -
@Asyas_illos O.K. But what does Forum Name man? Do they mean Yeti Home Contest? This is the SVSLearn Forum? Do I mention that?
-
Oh wait..I get it now. That was a very weird way of stating that. "Please include the name which you are using in the forum." That is much clearer.
-
The last month Yeti contest was so much fun to do. I am looking forward to this contest. Good luck everyone.
-
This is crazy. I was already working on house for no reason. Not sure it would look like my yeti's home. Great job with the follow up challenge.

Here is my Yeti home. I know it’s not 3/4 view but I decided I was proud of it anyway and wanted to share.
EDIT: I watched the critiques and realized I needed more character development in my house. I really wanted him to read like a Tibetan shaman kind of Yeti. I added a back door to make it wrap around the dome and hopefully get more of a 3/4 feel.
Also, he needed a pet. So I made him a snow leopard.
-
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
@chrisaakins I really love the architecture of your windows and door!
-
@Asyas_illos thanks! I researched Tibetan architecture and loosely based them on that style.
-
I like to think of my yeti living just off the main road of Yellowstone Park. He’s a pretty chill dude, that likens himself to a park ranger. He’s made use of discarded road signs over the years.
-
@KayPotter haha! Love it!
