@Nyrryl-Cadiz OMG That's practically the same pose I gave that character in her original 2018 design.
Well for the most part.

Progress with the helpful advice of @Nyrryl-Cadiz
I'll fix some of the noticeable issues on this piece later. Just wanted to show the flats.

Hey everyone, I just finished my commissions with a client yesterday and I thought I'd get started on what could potentially be my last illustration before Christmas. I really was hoping to do more this month, but time is money.
These characters are based on the main cast for my intellectual property for a children's screenplay back in 2018. For me this is an exercsie to both update their dseigns and practice consistency. The new composition doesn't seem to perfectly match everyone's designs, but I think since my art style has since evolved, it's more justified.
PLEASE give me any feedback that you'd like to share. Whether it'd be based on how I composed the sketch before I go into coloring. Or how you feel about the 2018 designs being translated into 2020. For some reason I feel like Olongapo's face is somewhat creepy. Maybe it's because his mouth and nose are somewhat semi-realistic lol.

@Michael-Angelo-Go hi! Ok, so I’ll comment on the biggest issue I’m seeing so far. I think your composition is too messy. For this piece, I think it will look great if you center it and extend the canvas lower to show more of the kids at the bottom. I’ve attached my redraw below.

@Nyrryl-Cadiz More symmetry. Rule of thirds. Got it! I'll try to get the revision out by tonight or tomorrow morning

Hello @Nyrryl-Cadiz I did what you recommended, I hope you're happy.
What I did was I had them more huddled like you recommended. I had the characters appear more like they're interacting with each other rather than doing their own thing, while next to each other.
I shrunk Isabela's barbie car and added packaging to bring less focus to the present, because I wanted her eyes to be eyes focused on her friend below her. I also had Olongapo looking at Little Manila.
I hope Davao's expression isn't too animated or distracts from the piece. He's the only one not smiling ha ha. I also made a video of the original process.

Hello @Nyrryl-Cadiz I remember your feedback on my first piece and did some adjustments, but necessarily chose the pose you recommended. I realized that after taking a second look at her, I realized that having her leg out and torso bent did not make her look attractive, so I fixed her to look more stable and symmetrical.
Do you think this approach also works, or I should go all-in with the pose you proposed? She got a little stiff looking.

@Michael-Angelo-Go it could but perhaps consider relaxing her shoulders and only showing 1 foot.
