@MattBaker Can't wait to see this completed! You can do it, yes you can!
-
@Molambo Oh cool, thanks! Yeah okay I see what you mean. I've already committed to the original with my watercolours, so I'll have to play with it in Photoshop once I've scanned it. Thanks for the advice!
-
@MattBaker the bane of traditional art. i "know" someone who prints his linearts out on waterpaper for such cases. i should look into it too in the future. looking forward to the finished piece.

@jsnzart Thank you sir! I'm feelin' those positive vibes!!
-
Making progress but dang, do I miss the Control-Z function!
Traditional can be SO much more frustrating than digital at times, am I right?
Starting to add some coloured pencil over the top of the watercolours. I'm going to do the background separately, because I'm too fearful that I'm going to murder the whole thing with the background. Playing it a little bit safe, you might say. -
@MattBaker looking great!
-
@chrisaakins thanks Chris!
-
@MattBaker yesss I switch media often and find myself mentally thinking ‘undo, undo!’ Alas nothing has yet to ever happen. Maybe one day. Love the line work and it’s looking nice. You can do it
-
@Jade-Vaughan Thanks so much Jade!
-
I've pretty much finished the characters, now to put them in the scene. Getting close, having fun.
-
@MattBaker Looks great, reminds me of Dinotopia by James Gurney
-
@Gary-Wilkinson Thank you, Gary! Haha yeah, this could be Insectopia
-
Very nice! Are you going to add the background digitally?
-
@Julia thanks! Yeah I'm attempting to add a digital background, but not full page, just a vignette type'a thingo.
-
Finished! .... I think.
#nevertrulyfinished

@MattBaker I think you should try to make the background colours lighter or more transparent or more pastel to really differentiate the background with your main subject. But yes! Otherwise it looks good to me! I like it!
