Pen pressure settings greyed out in Illustrator

I installed a new driver for my Cintiq and now my brush settings are all greyed out (except for Random). I've followed all the Privacy & Security settings, restarted my mac, etc. and still it doesn't work. Anyone else have this issue?

@Laurel-Aylesworth did you make sure you have a brush loaded? When you first start it might only have the basic brush which you can't use the brush tool for.
In the brushes pallet you should be able to load a new brush or copy and paste something you've drawn with a brush into the file
