Is there a class teaching the drawing of facial expressions?

Just wondering . . . is there a class teaching the drawing of facial expressions? I'm studying from books and copying right now, but learn so much better by watching!

I've heard that a great way to practice is to get a little mirror and use your own expressions as a starting place. Then you can change things little by little, and get a deeper connection and understanding of what all the little nuances the facial features bring to conveying an expression.

@Mara-Price Thank you! I'll check it out!

@Cayleen I've used a mirror, but don't get much time to play around in front of it and really grasp drawing each expression. Great suggestion though!

A couple years ago, there was a "Facial Expressions Project" on DeviantArt that collected a whole bunch of facial expressions/emotions. I like using those for practice. A lot of them can be found Here, but if you do a bit of following of links you can find collections of them under different members. I found them incredibly useful.

Hey @charitymunoz,
I recently put together a expressions Pinterest board if that helps at all?

One thing I found out from studying an artist who was insaley better than most people at expressions, is there's flow in the features of the face, there's lines of actions in the same way there is in a gesture drawing.

@Frost-Drive I've noticed this too

This also happens to be my focus of the month!
