Style Research

Hi! I was listening to the Style Podcast episode (again) and was thinking about my own illustration influences, most of which are people I follow on Instagram. I would like to find my own influences so I’ve started to research less current illustrators and wanted to share! If you have any illustrators that really inspire you or are lesser known please feel free to drop them in
First Up is....
Victor Chizhikov
He is a Russian children's book illustrator and the designer of the Olympic mascot, Misha, of the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. Chizhikov illustrated more than 100 children's books. He worked closely with writers Eduard Uspensky and Andrei Usachev.I absolutely adore this illustrator, but am having a hard time finding any info on him in english : ( . Excerpt is from Wiki.
