So, on to the next part of @Jake-Parker's prop design class! this time, our job was to do a three quarter view of our prop! Any critiquesUntitled_Artwork.png are always welcome.

@Random-Fluffers Nice design! Nice silhouette. I don't think (and I could be wrong here) that you drew your box when figuring out the 3/4 view 🙂 It kinda leans to one side.

        I did a drawer-over

I threw a box over your 3/4, and you can kinda see how the lamp leans and doesn't quite line up with the centre line. You can see with my draw over on the right I sketched in a box, and found my centre lines before figuring out my ovals.

Also, I find oblate spheroids REALLY hard to draw in perspective. My draw over leans a bit, too, because that shape is tough to do right. Neat shape. A pain to draw. I almost always just go for sphere instead 🙂

Lookin' forward to seein' what else the course comes up with 😃

@Braden-Hallett Thank you! I did draw a box when figuring out the 3/4 view, but it was fairly wonky. So I recreated the drawing, making sure the box was a bit more solid. And I must agree with you. The spheroid is quite the difficult shape.
