WIP - December Prompt

A "kid" overhearing what's being said.

This is my first foray into a more cartoony / children's illustrator exaggerated style. For digital painting, anyway.

I've been running into more trouble than I expected. Already had to move my main character by quite a bit after realizing her initial placement didn't work. I've worked a few things out, but I'm sure there's plenty I'm missing.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

Do your thumbnail compositional roughs upfront before you start painting. Lee White has a YouTube channel, he discusses thumbnails in one of them.
