Available for 3 days and 18+ hours from this post time.
How-to copy pasted from last post like this:
- Click the green button that says "Get the bundle" No need to make an account.
It will scroll you to the bottom of the page with a checkout option.
- Choose how much you want to spend. It has to be $25 or more to get painter. I chose the $25 option.
Do NOT hit the orange add to cart button, that is to add the monthly subscription to your purchase.Unless you do want to subscribe.
-
Below that choose if you want to share your name or remain anonymous.
-
Below that is a drop down "choose where your money goes". Click that and the sliders will appear.
It's set to give Corel $12.50, I reduced that to $1, and upped the charity slider. But if you click the charities arrow another drop down will appear with 3 charities. Click "be the match" and you can search for a charity you would like to donate to.
I chose one, then slide the bars for make a wish down, and gamechanger down.
I slid the humble tip down as well, but it's all up to you where you want the funds to go.
-
After that Enter your e-mail below to sign up for newsletter e-mail adverts of new bundles and such, this is not to get a paid subscription. You need this to get your downloads.
-
From there below you can click pay with card or paypal. I used paypal.
-
You will get an e-mail that you click a link and it takes you to the download page, individual downloads for each program and brush pack. There are buttons to click to uncover the serial key for the specific program.
-
download, Install painter, and insert the given key into the serial number box that pops up.
You now have painter, and it's 100% legit.

Neat! They're really pushing painter 2019. Probably because they want more upgrades to 2020
-
@Braden-Hallett It looks like you're using Painter on your work Braden - did I see that correctly? I'm really digging your brush work. I bought that humble bundle before but I haven't had a chance to start learning it.
If you are using Painter - have you always used it or did you switch to it from something else as a primary?
-
@jdubz Yup! I use corel painter I didn't switch from anything else. When I was getting into digital art it was before adobe had the monthly subscription, and painter was much MUCH cheaper. It works pretty well for me.
-
@jdubz When you start playing around with it feel free to shoot me a pm with questions or brush stuff There's nowhere near as many tutorials for painter as there are for photoshop.
-
@Braden-Hallett Yeah, I've been getting an alert that I can upgrade to 2020 for $99. Which isn't bad, $124 total for 2020 is a good price. I just don't feel the need to upgrade.
-
@CLCanadyArts me neither
-
I love painter for painting, or coloring in general. Their watercolor brush engine is pretty amazing. I use clipstudio paint or photoshop for inking typically.
Painter's blending is way better than Photoshop
I just wish they would figure out how to preserve transparency while blending, rather than forcing to pick up the underlying color, or being stuck with white edges if you don't want to pick up the undercolor.Nevermind on the blending issue, see @Braden-Hallett's comment below! -
@CLCanadyArts There's a toggle for most brushes called 'advanced layer blending'. Most brushes can use it and it preserves transparency
-
@Braden-Hallett Seriously?! I've been missing out. Time to experiment. Thank you for the tip!
-
@CLCanadyArts it's buried in the brush settings under 'blending' You're most welcome
-
@Braden-Hallett Great thanks! I will take you up on that!
-
I took the leap, Braden, and bought it. And then upgraded to 2020. Thanks for the connection--I simply couldn't afford it before but this deal made it doable. I really look forward to spending my winter break from school playing with it!! Thanks so much for sharing that bundle!
