Another digital attempt

This ones not my favorite but I'll show it anyway, The hair was made with coils, the dress ovals, circles and a star transformed into a pentagon. I was trying to fill in the background and it turned out a bit crazy but, I finished something so, now I will try something else. The black lines are calligraphy lines, I guess. The beads are hiding lines
I then exported it to GIMP and smoothed away the arm lines, etc. with the clone tool. Kind of has some wonky limbs made from skinny rectangles. Ha! I am learning though.

Wow, probably not intentional but there's a crazy optical illusion happening on my screen when you scroll past this image. I think it adds to it's already surreal nature! Have you considered posting your gimp learnings in a single thread? It'd be great to see them all together to watch your progress in one place.
