I am working on a book at the moment. I have 4 finished pages, 2 character pages and some sketches for the rest of the pages. Can anyone tell me how much work I should be putting into the rest of the pages? Is it mostly composition And main characters I need to focus on?
I don’t want to put too much work into them in case it doesn’t get published.

@Carol-del-Angel the book dummies i saw my instructors at the residency show me were little print outs they made at their home printer, smaller than a zine. They were black and white and gray and the main thing is the text placement most of the “art” looked like doodles.
