Superstition WIP good enough

Hi guys,

I made a simple illustration about a little witch changing the color of her cat (to black). Because, you may not know this, witches are supertitious about their cats! They need to be black. But, if a witch loves a cat that is not black, she can use her magic. However, as cats tend to go to their natural color as the magic fades, the witch has to cast the spell every day to make sure the cat stays black...

So, do you think this is strong enough for the contest? Input is very welcome!
