Hi guys, I hope you have had a great summer. I have started the "How to Ink 2.0" and I have had some fun practicing using a brush pen ( copic gasenfude). The tip from Jake about "applying less pressure than a butterfly lick" really helped!!! haha! I have attached my latest illustration below: A girl happily sleeping on her rhino friend. It was created as part of the United Art Space art challenge for WorldRhinoDay! The image is finished but I was wondering if maybe you would have any recommendations to improve the rendering? The shadow underneath the characters was added in photoshop instead of watercolour as I didn't wan to ruin the painting...ha! Not the greatest but thought I would give it a go? Happy drawing and I hope you enjoy the art! P.S: I have attached few more photos of the process and a shot of the practice drawings from the course. (sorry few have a low-light quality!) Thanks!!
