Hi,
I'm new to this forum, so I'll try my best to fit in.
So what I have here is a rough stage of a watercolour painting for the contest.
The style that I'm going to approach is Old World European illustration with the likes of Fritz Baumgarten and Gustaf Tenggren.
I'll trace it over with watercolour paper sooner or later.

Alright! I've blocked all the colours in. I'll be adding the shadows soon.
Let me know if I got the colour balance right.

This is looking really great. I love Fritz's work and this fits right in. Thanks for showing your process too. I've never done traditional watercolour before but would like to try.
