Best paper to Print on for clean ups?

Hey, so I have been drawing illustrations by hand then cleaning them up on photoshop but when I came to print on my favourite Bristol Strathmore paper my epson printer would not drag the paper through it? So my question is what paper do you use? (I am colouring with either water colours or markers and pencils...) Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't know about watercolors, but this is what Jake Parker uses for his ink and markers:
