#artip from Exec Art Director regarding the contact page on your website
Just wanted to share this tip from Penguin Random House Executive Art Director Giuseppe Castellano - regarding the contact page on your websites. He is always posting all kinds of helpfull #arttips for illustrators, so if you dont follow him already you should!
And now I am off to edit my own contact page to add an email address/mailto button (as I only had a contract form myself!)
@Rich-Green Yeah hahaha I did the same thing. I had intended to but kept forgetting to do such. His Tweet prompted me to drop what I was doing and get it added before I forgot again! Thanks for sharing!
@QuietYell - glad to hear I was not the only one! LOL
And for everyone else:
I also just noticed that Samantah Kaliis an Art Director at DreamWorks animation retweeted it adding: YES. I can't tell you how many artists lose out on jobs bc of contact forms. ADs want a record of who they emailed in their inbox.

Contact forms drive me nuts too. Until recently, I was the marketing director for a gallery that hosts one of the most prestigious art events in the country. There were several artists who were selected by the jury panel to take part as invited artists, but they were quickly uninvited when I wasn't able to get a hold of them because all they had on their site was a contact form with no email address to send the invitation to or phone number (and these were big name artists)). Many gallerists won't make more than one attempt to reach an artist before moving on (even if the artist is well known).
