After watching some old movie clips I was inspired to create this piece using watercolors, gouache, ink, and colored pencil. Your critique and comments are welcome. Thanks!

oh man... this is so nice I really don't have any bad to say about this one. I love your color, it's nice because it adds the drama to the whole scene. I love those victims haha. Is this our future?

Wow this is a great piece, love the colors and and the action. The fact there's not too much detail is something i really love..

Like the technique and color, but what really hurts me, and maybe its just me, is that top two arms are not symmetrical. I dont mind that there are three on one side and two on the other side. But I just feel that top arms should be aligned on both sides. It just doesnt feel right to me this way..

Thanks everyone for your comments. I really appreciate your input!

@Jiří-Kůs Thanks for making your point. I hadn't really thought about the arms on the right side but your comment is well stated.

I really, really like this, and I love watercolor. I had a hard time thinking of a critique, but here I go: what I would say, is that the poor hapless dude he picked up is in the corner of the piece. The robot's captive could probably be away from the edge, and even be a car instead of a person, since the human form is so eye-catching to us humans. But since that guy is not very brightly colored, it might just work. 🙂

@Rob-Smith Marvelous. I love the color, texture and edge quality, especially in your background. The victim definitely grabbed my eye. I agree with Carey, that it might work well to have him further from the corner. Great piece.
