How do you usually start out working on it? There aren't enough tutorials on it and it's driving me nuts.

@eleanor.m Not to be cute but: you start on it like you start on anything you are unsure of--get reference photos and re-create them until you have a good feel of what is going on.
What medium do you want to use? Digital, acrylic, watercolor, oil?
