I have a very technical question. I am looking at SVS video about Intro to Photoshop. Will discusses shape dynamics and setting controls to Pen pressure. Can you tell me why I can't change it from off? It is the first drop down menu and it stays grayed out. I can change angle Jitter to pen pressure but not Size Jitter. Does it have to do with my particular WACOM?
That is an odd thing, not had that problem before. I've found that the best thing for highly technical queries is to google it, there's usually someone out there who's had the same thing happen. This thread looks similar/the same to what you describe.

Sounds like maybe you could try a different brush, to see if a different type works instead. This thread has the same conclusion:
