Hi I'm Heli from Finland

I have a background in graphic design and social work. Drawing has always been my passion, but I've never really thought it would be possible for me to be a professional artist / illustrator. As I'm getting older, I have a strong feeling I want to try to make it as an illustrator.

I have two little daughters so I've read a LOT of children's books lately. My dream is to make a book of my own.

Anyways here are some of my notes from Jake's course, which I found very useful

Hi Heli! I just finished that course last week, now I'm in the middle of the basic perspective class (the next class in the curriculum). Same as you, I have an art/design background and just like you I feel pulled towards illustration as I'm getting older. I also have two kids and read pictures books every day. It's nice to find someone on a similar path -- thanks for sharing you work and your story
