Postcards
-
I finished a printed portfolio to take with me to Lightbox, and feel like I’ve come to my style and consistency between images, and color palettes. I feel like I’m ready to send out postcards, and i would love to see what you’ve done with yours. I’m looking to print 5*7s, double sided color. I havent decided which illustration to use as my postcard yet.

@AngelinaKizz What do your postcards look like?
Curious to see what it is!
-
@AngelinaKizz
This was my postcard I used earlier this year. The other side just had some simple info. It actually happened to be the one that got me rep'd by an agency. Can't wait to see yours. -
@MarcRobinson this piece was such a stunner marc, it's no shock you got agented with it. I knew you would.
-
@alexw I haven't decided yet! Haha, it's why I need some inspiration. I have pieces that I'd like to use, but I guess it'll depend where I'd like to put wording and stuff.. . I plan to revamp my website tomorrow with all of my new pieces, so I'll share it tomorrow!
-
I updated my website a bit, i have all of my portfolio pieces that are finished, on my homepage if anyone would like to take a look.
my website is www.evarartistry.com
I think my favourite is the mouse that i reworked, but i would love to hear others thoughts on which of the portfolio pieces you think would be best as a postcard.
-
@AngelinaKizz I like the mouse one, too.
Side question: you draw with your non-dominant hand? Now that’s skill!
-
@AngelinaKizz, your mouse piece would look nice on a postcard.
-
@danielerossi yes I draw with my non dominant. My dominant is very reduced in its function. I can sign my signature, or jot down a phone number but anything more than that and I'm in very intense pain. I can move my thumb ok. Any back and forth wrist movement is bad news. I've been offered surgery, but even the surgeon said "hold off until you want to cut it off" because it'll render my hand a stump. Just a pain free stump. How quickly life can change, mine did in about 3 seconds.

@AustinShurtliff thanks Austin. It is my favorite piece too.
