I started a YouTube Channel!

Hi everyone! This group has always been so supportive and helpful, so I wanted to share this here:

I've decided to try my hand at art vlogging!

Which is pretty terrifying and exciting at the same time.

I really enjoy watching furry little peach and other art vloggers while I'm drawing, and find their documentation of everyday life and art really calming.

If anyone has any experience doing this or tips and tricks I'd love to hear!

And in the meantime thanks for being such a great community!

Congrats! That's a big step. I hope to do one too someday.

Suggestion - feel free to ignore - I think your video can benefit from subtle background music - it will help decrease the hum from the microphone and keep the viewer more engaged.

I have had a channel for years, but I make maybe three videos a year so I’m not super advanced haha - Once you have a bunch of videos on your channel, check out Kelsey Rodriguez’s channel and website; she offers channel reviews for $100 ($80 on sale) and she gives super useful advice. I got one from her a couple of months ago and I’m revamping my upload schedule because of it. I have a goal to post at least one video a month starting February (this month already, man), and a Short every other week. It’s not a lot, but it’s more than I was doing and that’s good I subbed, I’ll be hanging around!

@Mewie Thank you! And thanks for the tip! Yes definitely still trying to figure out how to get the volume levels right with voiceovers versus talking into the camera and having soft music on at the same time. Ugh it makes my head spin a bit haha

One video a month is kind of already a lot for me, but that's my goal too. Maybe when I've learned more I'll be faster about recording/editing.
