Hi all,

I am Jessica, a graphic designer by trade, current stay at home mom to 3 little ones and aspiring illustrator. After making up story after story for my girls I wrote a children's book for them that I would love to illustrate one day. I decided to start taking SVS courses and have discovered a passion for illustration. I am dreaming of making illustration a career once my kids are a little older. I still have a lot to learn as I slowly work through the curriculum, any encouragement/advice is appreciated!

I started an instagram to share my work and track my progress as I learn new skills through SVS (like I said, I am truly a novice) but here it is: @jph_illustrates

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and encouragement! I completed "How to Draw Everything" and am moving on to the Perspective Drawing courses next. Do most people go through the foundations classes in the order they are posted, or cherry pick around?

Like I said, so new to all of this. Just finished my second digital illustration ever. Learning something new each time!

@jph_illustrates Jessica, I know this is a super old thread, but I was looking through old introductions to get to know people (I haven't done my own yet, but I will!) and I just wanted to let you know that there is something about this picture that I absolutely love. There's something fresh and delightful like a drawing done by a child, but the style doesn't look childish.
