Figure Drawing fundamentals
-
Just posting some of my figure drawings. Sorry they are blurred, im just not comfortable posting pictueres online of sketches of mosty undressed people. (Or maybe, bad camera)
Taking a break from the male figure, will do some female figures now!
How many about figures is a good idea to practise? the course provides 100s but do i need to do all?? Or do I? -
@Leah I just went through this course as well. Very fun!
The next course is gesture, so it's using the foundations you've learned from this one and taking it in a more character direction. There's more images provided with this course as well, same models though.
Building figure drawing skills takes time. If this is an area you want to focus on, you could do a figure drawing session a day with the images provided. Do some 1-2 minute pose warm ups and then do a longer pose. That way you can continue to work on it while learning new skills.
Hope that helps!

These are looking really nice! As for your question on how many drawings should you do for practice, do you mean in one single practice session? I usually just do a 30 minute session on https://line-of-action.com/. However, practice is unique to each person. Practice as much as you feel like you need to.
