Hello, everyone! My name is Sean Smith. I'm new to this forum, but a returning student to SVSLearn. It's been a few years since I was last here.

I have to admit I'm a little nervous about joining the forum because I've never really been part of an artists community before. But, I'm also excited because I don't get to talk much with other artists where I live.

I'm currently a stay-at-home, homeschooling dad while my wife works full time as an EMT. I have a little job on the side that brings in a little income, but I think it's time to find my place in the illustration community. I've been drawing and painting digitally for several years now and I would like to polish my skills and figure out where my art fits in. I love illustration and would like to find direction. And I look forward to learning a lot from everyone here.
I hope you like my work. I'm seeking to improve and get better in the areas where I'm weak. : )

Welcome Sean! I'm pretty new around here too. And I'm also a homeschooling mom! It can be hard to find time for art in the midst of kid chaos, but we find time for what we're really passionate about, right? I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work!

@kirsten-mcg thank you! Very nice to meet you! You’re right. It’s harder to get the time to create art when you’re working on homeschooling kids too. You’re also right about making time for the things we are passionate about. It’s worth it.
