Storm in a teacup

…or teacup in a storm. Here’s my concept for this month!
Looking for feedback please! Is the idea too confusing, and I’d be better off doing a more literal illustration of the saying “storm in a teacup”?
Not sure if I’ll finish it in time for the contest, but I’ve been having fun with it so far.

@LouD I tried this one and it's hard! That's why I ended up with a different idiom haha. For now I think it is a little difficult to see the storm, but it looks like a fun one to work on.

@LouD I really like this idea! I do think it could use an extra element which gives context. Are these tiny people in a dishwasher storm and that's why their in teacups? Are these giant teacups? I think the composition looks really dynamic though!

I really like your idea. It is very fun and has the potential to take a great story. If you need more insight and direction to help you further develop your concept, I would highly recommend digesting Will Terry’s course on creative composition. I can’t wait to see where you go with this very exciting.

@LouD I am also using this idiom and it isn't easy!
