Posting a second time because my last headline was vague. I'm an aspiring illustrator in Portland currently taking Children's Book Pro and SVS subscription classes. Anyone want to meet up for socializing/accountability/critique/support?

@Angela-Sagues If you haven't yet done so, have a look at the local PDX chapter of SCBWI
It may not be quite the SVS Learn oriented group you initially imagined but you'll likely find a number of peers looking for similar accountability and support.

I just moved away from Portland.
(Politics, homeless issues, prices, etc...) They have a active SCBWI chapter - check it out. I moved to Boise ID and I can't find anyone to 'meet up' with. May have to create my own thing - perhaps at a library or something. Good luck. Portland is known for it's artists. sigh -
@KatrinaF Oh no, sorry to hear you moved away! Portland definitely has its problems. I hope you can find an artists' community where you are that works for you!
