Inktober Day 28 - "Crispy"
Crunchy, crackly, crisp
Northern winds sweep us away
Carried on the fallAhh, fall is my favorite season Spose this is a fall appreciation piece.
How very different this could have been if I'd settled on a character design featuring a fried tempura shrimp hat Can you imagine the haiku for that one? What's your favorite season?
Happy Thursday!

Inktober Day 29 - "Patch"
Went really simple with this one! Nothing better in the fall than to wrap up in a blanket and sip something hot.
Happy Friday everybody! We can do this! Only two more days! Keep going y'all!

Inktober Day 30 - "Slither"
Across the rubble,
dark, sharply stubbled caverns,
a quiet light waits. If there's one thing I'm thankful to Inktober for, it's reminding me how much I love the inking mentality. IT's a TOTALLY different approach!
Perhaps you can relate to this too? I've found my own personal mentality and approach to life will shift depending on my art style. If I'm painting and shading and adding complex details, I approach life a bit more nuanced and welcoming to the gray areas. When I'm working on inks, doing my inking style, I find myself viewing life in more black and white terms - binary terms, "will or won't", "do or don't". No maybes.
Does that happen with you? Is there something you do and spend time on that somehow changes your perception of and approach to things?
Happy Saturday y'all!
