      Hey Everyone,

I had some time today and thought I would start working on my Albert and maybe get some advice, but then I had so much fun making it that instead of getting a concept and asking for advice I finished it.
(Asking for advice on a finished piece. Armature move I know)🤦🏻♀

Now it seems a bit boring . Not sure if its just me staring at it for too long or if it's just boring, so please let me know what you think and if I should change anything or everything or keep it the same?

        Hi Megan!
I don't think its boring! I think you have a really interesting POV, lighting, and I think Albert is adorable! The piece as a whole really gets across the feeling of Albert walking to his desk on the first day.

If you wanted to take that to the next level, I think you could make Albert's face look a little more nervous, or concerned, or whatever you want, but his expression feels a little ambiguous to me. Another thought I had was that the desks and Albert's feet don't seen really grounded, they kind of feel like they are floating. Maybe a harder shadow at the bottom that fades as it moves away would help. I think maybe your shadows overall are a bit too soft.

Overall I really love this! Even though Albert is dead center I feel like that was the right compositional choice, and I really love the colors, lighting, and Albert! Good job!

Oh my goodness I just submitted my Albert but sheesh getting a nice facial expression was quite hard will have to start working on those, but I definitely thing the extra shadows helped. Thank you very much

I love giraffes and this one looks like it can take care of himself 🙂

However maybe you could add different animals instead of people? I know, its more work tho 😉
