Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this site, so trying to navigate my way around. I've been a freelance Illustrator my whole career, but only recently gave up my part time Graphic Design job to focus 100% on illustration. I work digitally and traditionally, but I'm trying to promote myself more as a digital artist, for children's book purposes.

I'm really excited to get involved here. I'm self taught, so I've been learning so much from listening to the Podcast.

I'm currently working on a book for a self publishing author, and I feel like it's some of my best work yet (which is a good sign seeing as I quit my job LOL). I can't show any of the actual illustrations yet, but here's one of the characters I created initially. She didn't choose this one, so it's ok to show it

I started to use an iPad and Procreate last year after illustrating in Illustrator and Photoshop for many years and I LOVE IT!!!!! Best thing I ever bought!

Looking forward to learning more and having some great conversations.

Oh, I'm based in southern Wisconsin, but I'm actually English. Sorry about that!

Welcome! Great work! Umm did you apologize for being English or being in wiconsin?! Lol too funnyI also just started with iPad pro and procreate last year but I’m still a total noob when it comes to digital anything.
