I realized I never really introduced myself when I joined in November last year. I’ve never been apart of a forum or group anything really, unless you count soccer, when I was 12 (introvert), So I don’t know if it’s like etiquette or.... anywho I just wanted say hi my name is Asya pronounced Asia (thanks mom) I’m a 34 year old Californian, have a hubs and 3 kids. I love movies, being outdoors, animals and of course art. I have drawn since I was a kid. It wasn’t till I had my own I knew I wanted to illustrate children’s books. I’ve always had a more cartoony style and never really could see my art in galleries. I have really enjoyed taking classes with svs. I can see my personal growth and I’m so thankful to all you “colleagues” for helping me along the way too. It has been a privilege to be apart of this community, and meet people who have my same interests and values. Here’s some of my artwork from before digital and before svs. Thanks for popping by! So much love and support! I plan on sticking around for awhile

Hey! My story is very similar. Mom to 4 kids in North Dakota. I have seen you around and I joined SVS about the same time. I always had the same kind of feeling about having "cartoony" art and I think your art looks awesome!
