July 2024 Submissions - How To Fix Your Art
-
The Ramen & Co family run food truck: Is good sushi worth all the drama???
(This is my first time submitting - any advice is apreciated :)) )
-
@Larue You are too kind! Thank you
-
Here is my submission for July(and my first How to Fix your Art submission!) I loved this prompt and am looking forward to doing more!
-
@annastenger Thank you I totally see what you mean! I think making parts of the shadows darker would give more definition and get me a bit closer to that elusive finished feeling
-
@Oana Oh thank you so much! I'm glad you noticed all the details!
-
First time sharing! Here's my Witch's Treat Truck. This was done with a hand carved linoleum block that was printed, then scanned and painted with Procreate.
-
@Sara_C thank you so much!
-
@annastenger thank you! The colors and shapes in your piece are so strong!
-
@Karen-Hobart thank you! I really like your character design, the girl mimics the shape of the spiders - so great!
-
@Victoria-Slight Wow! this is SO good. I love the PoV, it makes the piece absolutely unique and very interesting in terms of composition. just wow!
-
@Oana I also really like the story in your picture, very creative and fun!
-
@Raphael-Berthoud Thank you!! I had so much fun while working on this drawing. I tried out a few different perspectives but landed on this one so that I could show off the rooftop garden more!
-
@Raphael-Berthoud Haha, I also did a Hansel and Gretel interpretation! Though my approach was different. This is fun!
-
@Oana I love this. It's clever how you worked the three chairs in. And it looks like Mama Bear isn't particularly thrilled about this arrangement, which made me laugh.
-
@Karen-Hobart So fun and clever. I love the buggy look of the truck.
-
@B-rex "Birria 51"- That's funny!
-
Gourmet Flies!
-
@Shawna-Calder-Tenney This is absolutely great Shawna!! You really nailed it!
-
@Rebecca-J-Gomez Thank you! That's my favourite part too. After finishing the image I realised I could have gone one notch higher in that drama by having mama bear holding a bigger spoon in a stance suggesting she is ready to use it on the wolf's head. But the more understated approach seems to work too, glad you noticed it
-
@Rebecca-J-Gomez haha I see! I love it, well done!
