So I am definitely not ready to start drawing this project, but I am in the very early stages of writing and world building for it... and I just had to share this rough drawing I made
@Jason-Crowley I really like the glow effect on the characters -- especially the little bubble characters floating in the sky.
I would like to share my latest work, which was basically just character development, not anything special for storytelling.
@ArtistErin Oh, I see! I didn't look properly and thought that was his tail. It might be effective to leave out the foot altogether and just show the bear from behind? Other than that I think the bear is perfect. I notice from your website that your people are usually pretty realistic in their proportions, whereas this girl looks a little more rigid and flat. That arm with the balloons looks quite uncomfortable. Also the bear is looking down at her beautifully, but her gaze leads to his sleeve; maybe tilting her head up a little would also make her look more adoring.
I hope my criticism is helpful! All the work on your portfolio is lovely! My 5year old daughter was admiring them with me.
@kylebeaudette I love your Batmans. They're my favourite Batmans of all the Batmans in existence.
Here's a picture for a colour-in-able invitation I had to produce on a tight deadline, but I'm mostly happy with it. (Don't point out any mistakes please!) 
When you invite family over for BBQ and that one cousin skips out on the feast… 
Re-drew some art I did 4 years ago. I love doing these there so satisfying for some reason (again sorry if the photos upload kinda big)

Painting flowers in watercolor has been really fun lately. I’m surprised to find myself loosening up and just having fun doing these things. I feel like, conceptually, they’re not very challenging, but I don’t always enjoy rendering and these are changing that for me. I’m thinking if I do a bunch of these, I could sell them on Etsy and get some practice mailing a product out.

Trying to get ready for Fall SCBWI conference, I took my images to the printer after making some adjustments... I might be overthinking and that is why it's helpful to have feedback! And seeing everything side-by-side it's apparent how different some of my kids are. So thank you! Will post again sooner than later hopefully
