SVS Virtual Studio JULY 2023

@Asyas_illos I'm happy to take over, Asyas! I know how busy it can be to do a move so it's understandable if you need to pass this task along. I have the time and would love to do this.

@Asyas_illos Wow, it's already July? (Since I didn't even realise that, I think that might disqualify me from taking on this venerable rรดle.)
Right now, this is what I'm working on in my sketchbook... Messy-looking, ain't it? Hopefully it'll get better over the next few weeks.

@Robyn-Hepburn I see the makings of a pirate scene.
Beautiful colors!

@kylebeaudette I love this

In the middle of modifying this piece. Original background idea was a cave but the background looked too digital to me. I've switched to hanging everything off branches. I'm thinking of redoing background with more of a watercolor feel and adding in branches that fade away... wish me luck. I have so many pieces to redo in my portfolio this month.

@Richy-s-ayala Enjoying your color pallet on this.

Still not getting a lot of drawing in with wedding planning in full force. But there is always my figure drawing group that my fiancรฉe runs, which is also where we met. And this is her modeling as it's something she loves to do.
I went straight in with pen last night drawing with a black Pilot Hi-Tec-C pen. I got into adding the boxes last night to sort of play with composition a bit more within a frame and I really enjoyed that. I may try this a bit more during our next sessions.

@Blitz55 Thank you so much!

I have been working on loosening up and enjoying the process more and I naturally gravitate toward these cool toned land/seascape scenes.
Also still not quite done with Willโs Developing Great Visual Stories. This is the last assignment Iโm working on finishing now.

@Blitz55 I like the framing idea, might have to steal that next time I do some figure drawing!
-
@skeletortoise This looks really fun!

@Jason-Crowley Oh you should. It sort of changed my perspective a bit in that I wasn't trying to draw the figure as perfectly as I could but instead I was looking for interesting compositions to frame the model or parts of the model in. I really enjoyed it and plan on doing it at our next session.
