@andreazupcsan The background lighting is really nice but the foxes are tiny bit flat. Maybe some subtle shadows and a touch of rim lighting would help.
-
here is a little penguin commission I did this week. I did this with gouache and ink pen and I was really pleased with how it turned out.
-
A character sheet I put together over the last few weeks in my spare time. I got some feedback on here and another group that I'm in, this is the improved version. Next year I'm hoping to do a lot more character designs and start moving into full illustration pieces.
-
@kim-hunter Ha ha .. yeah! That would be cool too!
-
Tried my hand at a gnome this month. It resulted from ordering a garden gnome for my mom for Christmas. It came very cheaply made and broken. I decided to to make one instead of reordering. Ta-da... my first ever sculpey gnome

@frogpunzel Love this
-
-
@andreazupcsan Gorgeous. Your work is paying off nicely.
-
@jdubz Yo~, why aren't you making art for children's books with your dioramas? You'd be creating your own market.
-
@jdubz Do you have any pictures of your process for making these? It would be cool to see in a post!
-
@braden-hallett Your comic project is coming along nicely. Hope you're sending mailers to indie comic publishers.
-
just few things iv done recently...
some portraits...
a landscape...not tooo great, il finish it off someday (not the best attitude i know...)
and some sort of kaledesscope that wasnt too hard work , but it was a lot of fun anyway!

Fictitious cover for my future second comic volume of "Txevi Metal".
(super far fetched, as I've only drawn like 2 pages of a potential first volume so far and the characters are still far from shaped up)
-
@elisheba I think the dots of light (cell phones)in the foreground would punch up the composition as well.
-
Hi everyone! Here’s my latest piece. I’m practicing my digital painting and trying to get a repeatable process down.
The hardworking polar bears of the North Pole Fire Department are taking a break to locate a Christmas tree for Engine No. 1 station.
-
Im working on the master copy exercise and started off with copying the style of lee white. My style is all over the place and relied on a lot of technical things that I feel wouldn't be marketable in the children's book industry. Here's my illustration of me walking my mastiff jenny in the mountains of waynesville, north carolina.

First of a set of four…

Ah, patronizing enthusiasm and full blown yelling tantrums. Fond memories of childhood!
Almost done. So close!
-
Happy Holidays everyone!

@kim-hunter Then I'll do that and repost it again here soon!
