March entry #2 wip
-
@Braden-Hallett yes could have lots of fun here haven’t thought to hard yet on embellishments but can’t wait to dive into more detail!
-
@Larue thank you!
-
@Asyas_illos Nice twist on the theme. I love the detail of this hand in the pocket of this tail! What other human mannerisms could you bring into it that we don’t normally see in merfolk?
-
@JohnFox thank you! I’m glad you noticed I thought that was a fun detail too
-
Made some edits added a some barnacles to the spear gave him some cuffs and a lucky crab claw also a scar below his eye and some snippets from his tail to show that while naive he is also a bit scrappy. I want to add a tattoo to his arm but not sure of what yet... should I go abstract tribal or something like a fish or squid? What do you think? -

Hi, Im a beginner at this, but to me they look very consistent. Really like your second entry
-
@Julia-Hegetusch thank you beginner or not it’s always nice to have another’s opinions and seen through different eyes
-
@Asyas_illos It looks pretty consistent to me! The only area where there may be a question of consistency is the hair on the pose that's 2nd down on the left. Every other pose has that really thick hair, while this one's kind of flat. That might be to show his movement through the water though, so feel free to disregard entirely
-
@Jacy13 yes it’s supposed to imply that he is swimming and it’s flowing back for some reason I had a really hard time keeping his eyes and facial features consistent
