Has anyone here ever painted with... printer ink toner?

Strange question I know but let me explain...
I recently bought ink toner for my HP inkjet and for the first time in the 3 or 4 years since I’ve had the printer, the printer thought it was a third-party counterfeit cartridge and locked it on me. No way to unlock it. Some weird feature HP surprised me with. Walmart wouldn’t take it back and HP said I can recycle it or throw it out (they are sending me a replacement cartridge).So here I am thinking... what if I keep it, open up the cartridge and use the ink to make a painting? A quick Google search turned up nothing. Is it even possible?
If I understand correctly, though, I think the ink inside is a powder. Could be a fun, nutty experiment.

The toner by itself won't stick to the paper, so you'd need to maybe mix it with something, like glue or paint, maybe? Toner is a very fine powder, similar in consistency to flour. I will warn you, it's very messy, haha. This does sound like a fun, nutty experiment, and I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
