HI! My name is Carmela I have a BFA in Graphic Design, and have been working professionally doing that for about 4 years. I recently started drawing again and have begun to really consider illustration as a side gig, but not sure where to start. Any recommendations (other than SVS obvi ) in terms of books/ magazines/ other resources for someone just starting to look into this field?

I'd recommend the site http://www.muddycolors.com/ It's targeted more toward fantasy illustrators, but it does have some good information about art and the illustration business in general. Scroll through the article section and you'll find a lot of interesting topics about art and business.
