Sadly in June for the Third Thursday event I was only able to get a BW drawing done for the "Martin's Surprise" prompt. Initial I had E.T. as the surprise. Later I changed him out for the little TRex. Thank you for any critique.

@Rob-Smith Hey Rob, I can see why the t-rex is darker (being in shadow and letting the viewer see boy first) but I'm wondering if he could be just a little brighter/higher sat? I'd give the balloon less transparency too.

I love the styling of the bus and people, this looks really tight and professional. Since t-rex seems to be whispering "quiet" to the viewer, I wonder if his eyes could be directed to the "lens" more obviously?

Looks good. I would watch the rendering on the stone pathway. Right now it's looking blurry compared to the rest of the items in the scene. Either way, good work!

lol nice choice of colors, good job. Even you have done a good painting it feels a little flat. I don't feel any depth with in the image.

Never give up, always push yourself two steps further than you believe you can go.

Well done Rob. It is really a fun picture, I would love to have a pet like that!
