50 item challenge

I see there is a 50 item challenge listed for April 28th, I looked around the site and I am at a loss, is this a video challenge and if so, where can I find it?

Is it possible you're referring to the 100 somethings challenge?? I haven't heard of the 50 item challenge. Maybe it's a similar challenge, so I guess I'll explain it. (Though, I might be wrong, so I wouldn't start the challenge until someone would back this up and confirm this is right.)
The 100 somethings challenge is referenced and explained in one of Jake Parker's YouTube videos, it's a character design (and imagination expansion) exercise. The challenge is to pick a subject, such as robots or monsters, and then draw 100 of them. The catch is that they all must be different. Make sure that your subject is restricted. For example, "robots" has a HUGE range of choices, so choose to draw 100 "Humanoid robots" or "steampunk robots". This causes you to think outside of the box and come up with tons of different ideas.
Another thing to add to the challenge would be to use a medium or tool you're new or uncomfortable with.
I don't know, I might be telling you about the wrong challenge. But, I would still look at this one.

When the site opens, the page has a calendar on the right side, it was there until the day it supposed to be happening and then it was gone... so maybe it was a snafu with someone's calendar that is hooked to this calendar and got put on by mistake... it was not the 100 somethings challenge... thanks for trying to help though...

I know the one you mean, @Russ-Van-Dine I saw that too and was looking forward to it, but it seems to have disappeared. There's an explanation of the challenge in Will's Creative Composition class, he says he sets the challenge for his college students every year, you have to fit 50 items into a single composition.
You can do the challenge yourself, by working through the Creative Composition class and then having a go at that challenge - I think it's near the end of the class.
When I saw it on the calendar I thought maybe a group would be doing it together and sharing feedback etc which would have been cool. Doesn't look like it's going to happen now though.
