Great day to fly a kite!
Working on a series with these 2 characters. Brainy Brian and Heartfelt Harriet. Right now they are going to be living their own lives and eventually bump into each other, fall in love, and do life together. Haven't gotten too far with it, but here's a peak. Always love seeing everyone's work!!
I am working hard to come up with a new concept of a new book. I have so many ideas in my head for a new concept, but i can't seem to settle on one. For example my current interest is a story about a boy who wishes his Dad had treated him better, but ends up finding out that his dad was all that bad after all.
What do you guys think about this concept? I think it holds as a book that will help explain why parents do what they do. Do you guys have any ideas on how I can flesh out this concept to little children? Help is HUGELY appreciated.
BTW what do you think about the drawing?
Right now I am working on the November prompt and battle with my clouds!

Feels like I haven't been here for ages. (It's ok, I won't be offended if you haven't missed me.)
I've been having a lot more fun with my drawing this month: taking part in artists' play dates, warming up with scribbles, blobbing ink around, and throwing perspective and proportion out the window as much as I can.

Hi guys. My agent has suggested that I broaden my portfolio offering. So it appears I'm drawing a virus character! This is currently a work in progress. I start with a traditional pencil drawing that I slowly render in Photoshop. Do any of you guys work that way?
Love this virus dude…very fun, and scary. In answer to your question I always start with pencil and scan in and then paint over it in PS.
