Which ASUS Monitor? Please help!
-
Hi Team,
Im new to SVS but Im only on the third course (light and shadow with Lee White) and it has become glaringly obvious that I need to learn the digital side of art just as much as the traditional side. To do so the screen on my Macbook Air wont do.I have trouble with the small space witht he ohotoshop interface and My eye sight isnt the best any more. I want a bigger screen and I'm opting for the new screen option. I need to find a monitor that works for a begginer artist using a Huioin tablet. I'm finding it very hard to decide what to buy? After looking for a week I have come down to two monitors that look good.
Could any of you please help me? have either of you used or own one of the monitors I have here? should I go with the 4K? stay witht he 1400? The color looks good on both but I just done know which one to get. These are the two im tryingt to decide from....

Hey Mike,
Either of those monitors will absolutely work, and the prices are quite good as well. If you want to future proof I would go with the 4k but if you want to save some money I'd go with the PA328QV.
The only other brand I would suggest is LG because it's what I use but honestly both those ASUS monitors are perfect for any artist, student or pro. -
@Dan-Tavis Thank you. I am so nervous about choosing the "right" monitor. BUt this helps. Thank you. Which LG do you have? I have an LG in my shopping cart also. It would be good to know your experience with that brand.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out.

@Mike-Babich I have this one https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27UK600-W-4k-uhd-led-monitor
But I got it a couple years ago so I don't think you can buy it new anymore at a reasonable price.If I were to get an LG today I'd probably get this one
