First Comic Con

After listening to the podcast for over two years now, I think I am finally ready to try attending my first Comic Con (not as a vendor.) I've never been to a convention and don't know what to expect or plan for. My goal in going is to network with other artists and learn as much as possible. Seeing as I have never been to a convention I'm not sure how many days I should plan to go, what I should have ready to bring with me, etc. I'm an author/illustrator who writes mostly middle grade and YA books and comics. I am publishing my second book this year. Thanks so much!

@ksfabian I've never been either and want to so bad. I actually think this would be a great episode for 3PP - how to do conventions well as artists with a booth and without!
