@carrieannebrown sorry to hear about your redundancy. That's really crap. I like what you've done with the prompt. Great job. I'm sure freelance will work out.
-
@Katherine giant snail for the win! I like the direction you went with it in the end. Also think the white space for text is a clever addition. Well done.
-
@mag Cute characters! ️
-
@carrieannebrown so sorry to hear that and still you finished your piece containing a dog. Hats off to you!!
-
@MarcRobinson Do you remember the giant racing snail from The Neverending Story (assuming you’re my age)? I think that’s why giant snails have a special place in my heart. Thanks for your input with this one, Marc. I definitely took it in a very different direction than I would have without everyone’s feedback.

@Bibi-Senthi Welcome! Bibi I can totally see your character and understand your concept so I think you solved that problem nicely. With the white strip at the bottom, you don’t have to put that on top of your image, it can go underneath. I can take mine into photoshop to do this — just make the canvas height a bit bigger than your image.
-
@Bibi-Senthi love the concept! Super clear to understand. Well done!
-
@Katherine oh thank you! Yes should have done that! I will know for next time!
-
@Katherine no problem, you've done a great job! You know what, I've never seen the never ending story. I should have done (I'm 37),but it passed me by! I love giant snails from the work of Jean Baptiste Mong. You've captured some of his essence I think.

@Lorna-H I know right! Makes it look easy!

@mag this turned out so beautifully Mags, colours, characters, composition, clear story. All of the details, it's just bloody lovely. 🥰
-
@Katherine I thought of a similar concept and glad I didn't do it because this is so much better than i would have knocked out. So beautiful and love your colours. X
-
@Asyas_illos I love how this turned out Asya! Such a great, clear concept, beautiful colours and all round knockout drawing.
-
@ArtistErin thank you!
-
@helenbrady Thank you Helen, that's very kind, although I'm sure yours would be different but beautiful.
-
@carrieannebrown So sorry to hear that. It's hard to create art when you're not in a good place emotionally. Best of luck with moving into he Freelance workspace!
-
@Anna-Lindsay This turned out so good! It looks happy and friendly, perfect for a children's book on wild animals.
-
@Chantal-Goetheer oh thank you! I'm so glad. I tend to struggle with contrast, so been working on that a bit.
-
@Asyas_illos love this!
