      Hi!

I'm just wondering… I am a professionnal illustrator from Québec, Canada (sorry for my so-so english). And I have to say that I am a bit overwhelmed by how poorly the editors pay an illustrator for an illustrated book - 32 pages and cover. (The lowest is around 1000$ - the highest (rarely) 3000$ - and this is an advance on the royalties… in CAD I must add 😂) Is it better in the US, or any other country out there? 😭

      Thanks.

@ValD you should listen to the latest 3pp podcast they talk briefly on this topic right in the beginning but that does seem very low.
