Just looking for compositional feedback on this rough sketch. I’m thinking maybe the lower left needs something more going on. Do you think I have a good spread of small, medium, and huge objects? Let me know whatcha think, thanks!9B3AE892-AE22-45AA-B623-84DAC4876C85.jpeg

I think it works great! I like the ‘huge’ as far as that corner maybe just pull the Phoenix or dragon things body around curving back in?

@Griffin I like the circular composition! Just check those bushy shapes aren't all the same size as you move forward. Maybe some of those bushes could be more medium size and the characters smaller?

            I think it'll be a really intriguing piece! ♥️

UPDATE: line stage is complete though I just realized the back wing is missing so I’ll add that in lol. Other than that just let me know what isn’t working, things I could add, things I could takeout. One thing I keep coming back to is the tail on the lower right. It feels a bit flat when I think it should be coming more toward the viewer. Couldn’t decide if it’s enough of an issue to worry about so let me know what you think. Thanks!

@Griffin This is such a fun image! I think that the texture on the tail would actually be much bigger in the section that we see on the lower right. I think just adjusting the size of the texture on the dragon's whole body, making it a bit smaller where the body is further and bigger where it's really close to the viewer would help.

@Griffin I think it’ll be fine once you’ve got some color. The value and shading can help give it the larger scale you’re looking for.

@Asyas_illos that’s kind of what I was thinking and it’s a simple enough change to make that going back to fix it wouldn’t be much a problem.
